Reception Rooms One of the
distinctive features of Harbor Knoll is the number of rooms where you can socialize, read or just watch the sailboats
go by. Whether in summer or winter your bedroom at Harbor Knoll is just one of the several places where you can
relax and unwind.
The Hall

The Hall is the first room you enter at Harbor Knoll.
A gracious chandeliered room that leads to the Drawing Room, Library, Bar, Stairs and Beachfront Porch.

The Hall offers you the house phone for your local calls.
There is also a series of tour books to help you plan your stay on the East End of Long Island New York.

The Beachfront Porch
|
In the summer, the long Beachfront Porch provides a languid spot to read
a book, take a nap or just gaze out at the activity on the water. This is also one of the locations where breakfast
is served. The porch is glassed in during winter and depending on the weather is equally as good as in the summer
to enjoy the views.

The Summer Drawing Room

The expansive Summer Drawing Room is ideal for reading, playing a board
game or having a quiet chat. Many guests enjoy this cool haven during the midday heat. In the evening it is a delightful
place to play bridge, read or simply chat.

The Library
  
|
In the summer, the library is a quiet area where one can curl up with
a book or watch television. The library houses an impressive collection of books on history and political science.
If there is a particular book you've been longing to read, tell us when you book your room. If possible we will
arrange to borrow it from the local Library.
In the winter, the Library becomes one of the central reception rooms. If you would enjoy watching a DVD, take
a look at our list. We will be happy to put one on for you. The fire in the Library can be lit at any season, just
ask.

The Dining Room

In the winter, breakfast is served in the formal blue and yellow Dining
Room. This is also where lunch is served for those on our Winter Escape Package.

The Bar
|
The Bar is a charming intimate place that reminds guests of the house's
Prohibition history!
This is a lovely place to start an evening after a day at the beach!

Here you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, while chatting with
friends or listening to music on the stereo.

The Drawing Room
|
Last but certainly not least, the Drawing Room is a unique treat for
our winter guests. Offering formal but comfortable furniture, fine antiques and paintings. The Drawing Room is
the grandest room at Harbor Knoll. What a marvelous room to socialize in while sitting by a roaring fire and sipping
cognac!
