Real Estate Leueen M. Miller joined Daniel Gale Sotheby's, Shelter Island office as a sales associate in September of 2007. A former diplomat and international development expert, Leueen became a full-time resident of the North Fork following her retirement from the United Nations. She has been very active in our community as President of the East End Seaport Museum and Marine Foundation, President of the North Fork Bed and Breakfast Association, and member of the North Fork Promotional Council, North Fork Chamber of Commerce, North Fork Wine Council, and Southold Historical Society. In addition, she retains her association with the Cosmopolitan Club in New York, National University of Ireland Club, and the Association of International Civil Servants. Leueen and her husband, a New York City attorney, have owned summer homes on the North Fork for many years. In 2001, Leueen opened their beautifully restored 1800's Victorian bayfront home, Harbor Knoll, overlooking Greenport Harbor into one of the most successful and premier Bed and Breakfast resorts on the North Fork. Leueen grew up in Ireland, was educated in Europe, and lived in Manhattan and overseas for many years. Leueen has witnessed the development and changes that have occurred on the North Fork and knows the area extremely well. Her broad background, involvement in local organizations, fluency in a number of languages, and multitude of contacts nationally and internationally plus the rare combination of networking with contractors through her renovations and B & B business make her a valuable asset to our dedicated and expert team of sales associates. Leueen will be glad to assist you in the sales of our vacation homes, country retreats, historic residences, waterfront properties, land, and summer rentals on the North Fork. Sales Associate |
